Service Description

In this 12 week workshop, certified instructor Jennifer J. Russell guides you through understanding your personal astrology chart using veteran astrologer Laurie Rivers’ proven curriculum. This 12-week course gets you familiar with the building blocks of the astrology chart, demystifies the meaning of the parts of the chart and helps you gain a greater understanding of your natal chart and yourself. By the end of the course, if you actively participate and do the homework exercises you should be comfortable with identifying the objects in the natal chart and be eager to start looking at friends and family charts to gain a greater understanding of astrology and the personality. This is the foundational course for anyone wanting to learn astrology at a deep level. Includes: Video walk throughs, creative and interactive homework exercises, live workshops, office hours, & a private group for continuing support during the 12 weeks of the Course as well as access to recorded course information, workbook and learning tools. Week 1: Introduction to the course, Astrology and the Natal (Birth) Chart Week 2: The Glyphs – Learning the Astrological ABC’s Week 3: Identifying and Understanding the "Personal Planets" in a Birth Chart Week 4: Identifying and Understanding the "Tertiary & Outer Planets" in a Birth Chart Week 5: Identifying and Understanding the Signs in a Birth Chart Week 6: Elements and Modalities Week 7: Identifying and Understanding the Houses in a Birth Chart Week 8: Planets, Signs and Houses: Review and Discussion Week 9: Introduction to aspects and identifying them in the Birth Chart Week 10: Identifying Placements & Their Meanings (What is where and what does it mean?) Week 11-12: Putting it together, hands on practice on identifying placements and beginning to read your natal chart.
